4. Who We Share It With
We don't sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Delivery and logistics partners, to arrange equipment delivery and collection
- Payment processors, to process rental payments and bonds
- Credit reporting agencies, to assess rental applications or report defaults
- Manufacturers, to register and manage warranty claims
- Our IT and business service providers, where necessary to operate our business
- The PPSR registry, where we are required to register our security interest in rented equipment
- Overseas service providers, where applicable — we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate data protections are in place
5. CreditorWatch
We use CreditorWatch to assist with credit assessment of rental applications and to monitor the credit risk of existing customers. By submitting a rental application, you consent to us:
- Obtaining a credit report about you from CreditorWatch
- Disclosing information about your rental account to CreditorWatch, including any defaults or outstanding amounts
- Listing any unpaid debts, court actions, or default judgements against you on the CreditorWatch registry, where applicable
- Other businesses and individuals searching the CreditorWatch registry may be able to view any listings made against you
- CreditorWatch using your information in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at www.creditorwatch.com.au
We will always attempt to resolve outstanding amounts directly with you before making any registry listing. If a listing is made and the debt is subsequently paid or resolved, we will request its removal in accordance with CreditorWatch's processes.
6. Keeping Your Information Safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. This includes physical security of our systems, restricted staff access, and appropriate technical measures such as firewalls and secure storage.
We only keep your information for as long as it's needed — typically for the duration of your rental relationship with us and for any period required by law after that.
